The Power of Planning

Have a plan.

If you feel like you are drifting through life, then lean in to this message.  You need a plan - goals that drive you and turn the gears of your life so that you methodically get from point "A" to point "B."

A chain can't drive a bike if it is broken.  The plan is like a chain that makes the components of your life turn together to propel you forward.

Have a mission statement: this is what you want your life to achieve and stand for through the years you are on earth.  Play with it and the wording until it feels right.

Make short- medium- and long-term goals for yourself.  The little goals should feed into the bigger goals.  Make everything ultimately strive toward your mission statement.

Without a blueprint/plan/driving force you will spin helplessly.  In my book, Simple Fly Life:  The Manual, vision setting is discussed in more detail and can teach the basics of efficient and effective goal setting.

If you are new to this - please consider and take a look.  If you are a pro already, make sure you are racing towards your goals with intentionality and intensity.

Planning prevents poor performance.  Plan.
