A Moment

What would you give for more time with your loved ones doing meaningful things together?  What would you spend to get that precious experience?  $100.00?  $10,000.00?

Stay with me a moment and hear me out.  Your debt and shopping habit may be why your family and loved ones don't hear from you anymore.  It may not be that you are truly too busy.  What if you could be un-busy?

If you don't have debt, your job will be seen differently.  If you have several income streams and your efforts are going into your coffers and not your credit cards', you may be able to work less.  Working less is a dream for many with aging parents and small children.

If you are not shopping your way into poverty, and are building wealth instead, you will have choices not given to many.  You can possibly work part-time.  You can spend the time with your loved ones.  You can be there to help out, celebrate with, and build your relationships into fortresses that can weather upheaval and intense pain.

It takes time.  Time is granted to those that are prepared to have it.  Eliminate your debt.  Build your wealth.  Say "no" to one more widget that is there only to steal your potential for freedom.  Have the true riches in life.  Stop shopping for entertainment.  Buy what you need.  Say "no" to economic slavery.  Say "yes" to your relationships.

Because in the end, it's who you know.
